The Oyster case remains as closed as an oyster
Thanks to its thin height of just 12 mm, the Submariner has a slim and elegant look. It continues to offer divers full water resistance to 300 m. The Triplock crown has five gaskets to keep out moisture, and the case and bracelet are made of corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel, which replica Rolex calls “Oystersteel”. 
Another highlight of the Submariner is the easy-to-turn bezel, which makes a rich clicking sound in half-minute increments. The hard ceramic ensures a scratch-free surface. The recessed numerals and markers in the ceramic bezel have a thin coating of platinum. This is complemented by the high-quality curved white gold hands and applied markers.
Readability is another perfect feature. Rolex’s own “Chromalight” luminous material emits a bright glow. Its cool shade of blue is easy to see in dim light and is easily readable. luminous triangles at 12 o’clock and bar markers at 6 and 9 o’clock provide clear orientation. The zero point on the bezel also glows brightly, and the seconds hand has a luminous dot that provides a functional check.
The smooth case back, the clean inner surface of the clasp and the soft touch of the steel bracelet all contribute to the comfort of wearing the replica watch. The links of the bracelet are curved to fit the shape of the wrist. The space between the links remains constant, preventing pinching or hair pulling even when the bracelet is bent.
A safety lever and an easy pull lever underneath prevent unintentional opening of the bracelet. The clasp, crown and bezel are easy to grasp and use. The quality of workmanship and finish here is impressive, as is the entire watch as a whole. The sides of the bracelet, clasp and case are polished, while the upper surfaces are brushed.
There is really no need to improve on the overall design. Even though the fake watch was originally designed in 1953 and has undergone only minimal changes over the years, the submarine design still looks both sturdy and modern. It certainly doesn’t look old. This is largely due to the smooth, reflective ceramic bezel, the shiny black dial and the flat, reflective sapphire crystal. They give the Submariner an elegant air that makes it as easy to wear with a suit as it is with a T-shirt and jeans.
Unfortunately, these features – especially the flat, reflective crystal – detract from readability, which would have been nice, thanks to the anti-glare coating on the inside of the crystal. Due to the magnification of the Cyclops lens, the date can only be read from the front. However, the high magnification of the lens allows many people with far-sighted eyes to see the date without glasses.
